There is a group of people, who are fond of making different sculptures with the help of food. They call themselves – "Food experts”. But of course it is not a group of people who control provisions. They are food sculptors. Every day from early morning till late evening they make masterpieces in their workshop. There are a lot of different exhibitions all over the world, where you can see a lot of different food sculptures. The last one was in Moscow this spring. We should agree that such exhibitions can be very shocking sometimes. That’s why a lot of critics think badly about this kind of art. I don’t think that critics don’t understand the importance of every kind of art, they think that it’s useless, that it doesn’t bring any value in art as itself and it wont teach people to understand and to perceive the art world. More than that religious people say, that it’s a big sin to make something from food and then throw it away. It’s not a secret that food art isn’t eternal and it spoils very fast. But nothing can live long and every thing will die someday. We can say the same about pictures, photos, sculptures and other things. As for me, I don’t think that it is cruel.
